Executive chef Cassey Durum is in charge of the pots and pans, the head of the kitchen. Culinary flair gathered throughout his career, from all corners of the world, has given Cassey an edge that’s inspiring and slightly out of the square.

At BeanStation Café we believe in honest, seasonal fare and aim to provide our customers with an “out of the ordinary” breckie or lunch. The prettiest jaffles, the most eggcellent of googies. Both best enjoyed on our sunny platform with a delicious piccolo.

What is coffee to BeanStation?

It is business, very serious business. It’s what we get out of bed for every morning. We love making coffee for the city who loves to drink it. We pride ourselves on a high quality product and that is why our choice “Merlo Organico” is our main blend. It’s a medium to full bodied blend, with a strong earthy flavour and a sweet finish. Its green beans are certified organic by the Organic Crop Improvement Association (OCIA). Good for the mind, good for the soul.
